The motor is connected to the motor controller using the supplied RJ11 to RJ11 cable.
Connect the cable to the connector in the motor housing as shown by the red arrow below.
Connect the cable to the connector on the side of the motor controller as shown by the red arrow below.
Below is a picture of the cable properly attached between the motor and the motor controller.
